CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

We are aware of the impact that companies have on society and the environment. That is why we are concerned with reducing the negative impact on the environment and, as far as possible, taking actions to contribute positively with our society.

Our actions begin with the commitment to the people who work in SEIT, in the application of labor standards, the respect of their rights as persons and workers and in providing a good work environment. We disseminate CSR values ​​among all the people who work at SEIT so that they apply it and disseminate it in their work.

World Agreement United Nations

We are signatories of the United Nations World Agreement since 2010 and partners since 2012. We are committed in this way to implement and disseminate its ten principles on Labor Standards, Environment, Human Rights and Anticorruption. We annually make a progress report in which we present our progress in those matters.

Values of World Agreement United Nations:

  • Value 1: Companies must support and respect the protection of fundamental human rights, recognized internationally, within their sphere of influence.
  • Value 2: Companies must ensure that their companies are not complicit in the violation of human rights.
  • Value 3: Businesses should support the freedom of affiliation and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining.

Stable collaborations

Through the Department of Corporate Social Responsibility of SEIT, S.A. We participate in different actions to collaborate with the needs of society. We try to cover different areas such as health, poverty, gender equality, the environment, diversity, childhood, disabilities. Our collaboration ranges from monetary contributions by the company, to more active participation through corporate volunteering actions. We try to involve our staff in the different campaigns in which we participate and we are commited with actions that besides benefiting society, represent a benefit for our team.

How do We collaborate?



  • We participate in the solidarity race “Mou-te” (move yourself) and the campaign “Una poma per la vida” (an apple for life), organized by The MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS FOUNDATION (MS Focus).
  • We buy solidarity roses for Sant Jordi to The Comtal Foundation, which works to help children and young people at risk of social exclusion.
  • We collect toys for The Christmas campaign of Casal dels Infants del Raval, which offers support to children and young people at risk of social exclusion.
  • We collect books for The CODESPA Foundation, to sell them on The Sant Jordi Day (Catalan St. George’s Day) and thus, collaborate in their projects in the developing countries.
  • We order The Christmas card to UNICEF, to collaborate in their projects
  • We collaborate with UNHCR in helping refugees.
  • We collaborate in projects in the developing countries with the organization “Manos Unidas” (Joined Hands).
  • We participate with The Eurofirms Foundation in raising awareness on the occasion of The International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
  • We participate in the awareness-raising campaign on the occasion of International Women’s Day, with The ADECCO Foundation.
  • We have the waste recycling service entrusted to FEMAREC, a special employment company.
  • Every Christmas we organize a charity raffle in which the total amount from the sale of the tickets is donated to an NGO of the winner’s choice.
